The Haitian Consortium boasts a long history of helping Haitians both in Haiti and the Diaspora.  Our track record of efficiency and accomplishments, from 1983 to the present, is commendable.  The Haitian Consortium has fostered more community development programs than any other community based organizations serving the Haitian community in the US and Haitians in the Diaspora.  Eighty six percent (86%) of them are self-sufficient and are continuing to serve over 5,000 people annually.   We have nourished and strengthened our churches and community centers in Haiti and the Diaspora by helping them to secure funding, promote leadership development, create and manage no-cost and low-cost health care clinics, food pantries, and make connections with U.S., Canadian, European and Latin American churches and development centers to help them thrive and grow.
