The Thousand's Group®!The Thousand's Group Will help you leave unproductive thoughts behind. Welcome Welcome to the Thousands’ Group. We are a program of the Haitian Consortium committed to fostering and achieving the best influences regarding positive change in Haiti and the Diaspora. The group was created to assemble influential leaders, political scientists, religious organizations, investors, entrepreneurs, merchants, scholars and students capable of advancing Haiti toward democratization, political stability, and economic growth in the next ten years. The group is the first initiative program solely created to foster interactions between all sectors of Haitian life for the betterment of the next generation of Haitians. Mission The mission of the Thousand’s Group is to help Haiti build excellence in leadership, science, engineering, medical technology and a better style of governance. Our goals are to strengthen the educational and development system in Haiti to create sustainable economic growth, implement and produce a stronger teaching and research agenda, maintain scientific cooperation with the United States, Canada, Latin America, Asia and Europe. Other goals are to enable Haiti to gain from, and contribute to, scientific and technological advances globally. Goals The goals and objectives of the Thousand’s Group are to assist in creating and implementing economic growth strategies for the future generation of Haitians by identifying new ventures, creating and implementing strategies to realize and maximize sustainable investment value for the country. It is also the Thousand’s Group agenda to work with agencies to generate ongoing philanthropic and investment support for a wide variety of programs, companies and organizations in Haiti and the Diaspora. Other goals and objectives are to work with companies, organizations and individuals to make these plans come to fruition for Haiti in the next 10 years. Bringing Innovation to the Haitian communities The Thousand’s Group is an interest collection of organizers to initiate actions. The TG’s members are registered among a selected network of leaders from reputable centers of excellence in a variety of educational and development fields. They are located in 20 countries throughout the world. They meet at least 4 times annually to evaluate ongoing projects, consult with local communities, consult with potential financing agencies and create proposals for initiatives programs in agriculture, health, science, technology, education, and job creations. Our Partners & Counterparts in Development To help carry out its mission, the Thousand’s Group (TG), has worked closely with scholars, business leaders, political scientist, religious organizations and influential indigenous grouping in establishing and developing seminars, workshops conferences, educational retreats, training, and the annual program’s curriculum and curricula various special projects and self reliance programs,. Over the years, Thousands’ Group received excellent support from various national and international philanthropists, companies, institutions and organizations. Since its inception, (TG) has developed close relationships with over 100 top-level institutions and universities in the U.S., Canada, Latin American and the European Union interested supporting our Fresh Start Movement for Haiti and the Haitian Diaspora.. This consortium of universities, philanthropists and institutions are working with (TG) to bolster the national and international image of the movement, help create new avenues for our graduates from Haiti, provide investment assistance for our business members, and the secure funding for (TG)’s economic development programs. Methodology: 1. Marketing Haiti externally for the purpose of attracting investment and generating jobs. 2. Raising awareness about Haiti current needs 3. Support the local economy by Promoting new investment to create jobs and sustainable enterprises 4. Assisting local businesses both in Haiti and the Diaspora to expand and grow. 5. Counseling local communities on becoming more attractive to existing and potential Investors.
