Your support helps meet the challengeAt the Haitian Consortium, we are proud about how we handle the funds entrusted to us. For administration and overhead, we spend only nineteen cents of each dollar received. The rest of our income - eighty one cents on every dollar - is spent on programs -- the purpose for which funds are, after all, given to us. Contributions are received and recorded according to donors’ restriction or for unrestricted purposes.

Staffing & VolunteersThe Haitian Consortium’s staff and volunteers are composed of accountant, economist, social workers, medical doctors, nurses, managers, faculty and students from such disciplines as social sciences, human resources, and development; staff of national and international aid agencies; representatives of private development organizations and firms; and other professionals involved in development programs. The staff carries out activities in the Haitian Consortium's fields of interest and develops volunteerism. The Haitian Consortium offers development aid on its present scale because of the assistance of hundreds of volunteers. We connect! One other ambition of the Haitian Consortium is to connect Haitians groups who have specific ideas for improving their lives to funding agencies so that they can promote sustainable economic development for the well-being of their communities.
