Planning For Investment in Historic Site Preservation

The Commission will work with national and international museums, galleries and tourist industries to:

  • Maintain and sustain Haitian Historic Sites

  • Develop educational booklets and brochures to educate local residents on economic advantage and impact of “Culture and Site Preservation”

  • Create tourism visits and walking tours to promote select areas and stimulate the local economy.

  • Work with local artists to develop souvenirs and crafts.

  • Work with local entrepreneurs for marketing tools, ideas and overall support.

Fresh Start Movement:

Fresh Start Movement (FSM) is a program which carves its roots in “Unity for success”, “Union for change”, “Group for Action” and “Civic Empowerment”. It is a movement advanced by people who are dedicated to alleviating and eliminating the human misery, poverty and ecological degradation in Haiti.
